| | | The Theatre Royal and Opera House in Wakefield is a fine old Victorian theatre, opened in 1894 since when, off and on, it has been entertaining people from Wakefield and further afield. It provides a venue for touring productions, light and classical, and a home for local amateur dramatic and musical groups. Although an old building (it's listted) it has a light and airey modern cafe.
