Facebook campaign aims for first Welsh-language hit single

Masters In France are releasing their single Yn Y Ddinas ('In the city') on St David's Day, 1 March and the accompanying Facebook campaign group - Cael band Cymraeg fewn ir TOP 40 / Get a Welsh Language act into the UK TOP 40 has, at the time of writing, 9590 members.

On the campaign page, the organisers say, "If we sell 1,500 we're guaranteed to get the track into the Official UK TOP 40, but we need thousands to join the group to acheive this."
