The new Doctor Who and his companion are set to host two concerts in July as part of the BBC Proms.
Actors Matt Smith (the Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) will introduce the BBC National Orchestra of Wales' performances with the London Philharmonic Choir on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 July. The orchestra is due to perform five proms, including the two Doctor Who Proms.
