And they'll be dancing on the streets of Llanfairfechan

It was the competition that never stopped giving. Dramatic throughout, and last night's finale did not disappoint. But in the end, our much loved football correspondent, Rob Phillips, had to succumb to the mystical powers of Nanny the World Cup Wonder-Goat.
For those of you not following the action, Nanny – a “psychic” goat owned by star of BBC Wales' The Hill Farm, Gareth Wyn Jones – has been predicting the World Cup scores every day with Steffan Garrero.
Her tournament got off to a slow start (most champions do to be honest) but after seeing off the predictions of Socrates - BBC Radio Surrey’s psychic goldfish - she took on her most formidable opponent yet; 'Call Rob'.

As is the way with all great contests, it's been nip and tuck for the last fortnight with the lead changing hands many times. However, at seven correct predictions each going into the final, something had to give. Nanny went with form and picked the Germans. Rob went with convention and picked Argentina, given that South Americans always win the World Cup in South America.
I suspect when Mario Gotze put the ball in the back of the net around 10.30 last night, Rob was looking up recipes for goat curry. Nanny won, 8-7. The prize? Nanny starts a brand new football phone-in, Call Nanny, next month*.
Now the World Cup is out of the way, our sporting focus starts to turn to the Commonwealth Games. Good Morning Wales started their bluffer's guide to Glasgow 2014 this morning; and Wynne Evans carries on trying out Commonwealth sports on his Big Welsh Weekend on Friday.

On Sunday, Frank Hennessy is live in Glasgow for a special Celtic Heartbeat at 6; and at 8, we join forces with our colleagues at BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Ulster for Commonwealth Connections, a concert celebrating the music of some of the nations taking part.
Sunday's a day of highlights. At 7am, Country Focus kicks off our coverage of the 2014 Royal Welsh Show. At 1pm, Professor Dai Smith offers a new and impassioned view of Wales in the 1960s in a new two part series, Protest Nation. And at 5, Out on a Limb - a fascinating documentary tracking staff and patients at the Artificial Limb and Appliance Centre in Cardiff to hear how people deal with the trauma of losing a body part.
Elsewhere this week, Liberal Democrat leader Kirsty Williams is taking your calls with Steffan on Thursday lunchtime. And look out for Soul Mates, the new song from Feeder’s Grant Nicholas, our Radio Wales Artist of the Week. Grant is live with Eleri Sion on Wednesday.
*This is not actually true. Although Call Rob Phillips is back for a new series on Saturday 9 August.
