High pressure has kept things dry and settled this week with some lovely sunshine but also some low cloud, mist and fog.
We’ve also seen a big difference in temperature across the country.
Bala recorded a warm 17°C last Wednesday but Rhyl could only manage 6°C in the fog yesterday.
It has also been cold enough at night for some frost; Tirabad in Powys fell to -2°C last night.
Over the weekend, there’s plenty more dry weather to come with high pressure south west of the UK over the Atlantic.

Met Office weather chart showing high pressure.
There will be more of a breeze too so fog will be less likely apart from on higher ground e.g. in Snowdonia.
The cloud will break up with some sunshine tomorrow and it should be a nice afternoon in Cardiff for the Six Nations rugby match against Scotland with a high of 13°C.
Sunday will be much cloudier with spots of drizzle in parts of the north and north west.
Elsewhere it should stay dry with the best of the sunshine in the south east.
Top temperatures will reach 10°C in Bangor and 15°C in Monmouth with a west to north-westerly breeze.
Next week will start dry but it will turn more unsettled and windier by the middle of the week with some rain and showers.
