Watch footage of the chick here.
While two eggs remain, the chick was been seen fully emerged, bald and blind today (Wednesday 13 May).
Geraint Williams, Osprey Project Officer for RSPB Cymru, said, "The new arrival is completely bald, still wet and absolutely tiny, as you would expect from a chick that is just a few hours old. Later today, its eyes will open properly and it will have a first feed, which should be great to watch."
This year is the pair's sixth breeding season at Glaslyn.
Visitors can view the pair from the RSPB's installation in the area. Details can be found at www.rspb.org.uk/datewithnature. Follow osprey updates at http://blogs.rspb.org.uk/glaslynospreys
