Rare clearwing moth spotted

Martin Aaron

We've just had a report that the Welsh clearwing moth sighting at Radnorshire Wildlife Trust's Gilfach Farm reserve, last week has been confirmed.

The Welsh Clearwing has always been rare in the British Isles, only occurring in small parts of Wales, Scotland and Ireland in recent years.

Have you seen any unusual moths or butterflies in your garden?
