Halloween turned out to be a soggy affair in Wales yesterday with wet spells and ghoulish gusts of wind up to gale force for a time!
The heavy rain was brought by a cold front which cleared overnight followed by heavy showers and a drop in temperature.
There was a light dusting of snow in places this morning, on the hills and mountains including Cadair Idris and the Heads of the Valleys.
Over the next few days, it is going to stay on the chilly side. It will be windy at times as well with blustery showers or longer spells of rain.
Some heavy downpours in places with hail, sleet and thunder and cold enough for a little snow on higher ground.
So, if you're planning a bonfire or fireworks party over the weekend, my advice is wrap-up warmly, wear a jumper and an umbrella may come in handy!
The changeable, sometimes unsettled weather looks set to continue well into November with temperatures alternating between mild and cold.
During any cold snaps there will be a risk of frost and wintry showers, especially on high ground.
