Air quality hasn’t been great this week with haze, pollution and Saharan dust in the atmosphere, but there is a big improvement on the way.

The wind direction is going to change tomorrow, turning into a southwesertly, bringing cleaner air in from the Atlantic, lower pollution and better air quality.

Forecast chart 3 April 2014

Rain tonight will move north and gradually clear and much of Wales should be dry by the end of the night with low cloud, mist and hill fog.

Some sea fog is likely as well with lowest temperatures of 6°C to 9°C.

Tomorrow will start grey and misty in places but during the day it will gradually brighten-up with some sunshine.

One or two showers are likely here and there otherwise it will be dry.

Top temperatures 10°C to 14°C and it will feel fresher than recently with a light to moderate west to south-westerly breeze.
