Neon Neon, the collaboration between Gruff Rhys and LA-based producer pal Boom Bip, are about to embark on an ambitious live outing with National Theatre Wales.
Their second album, Praxis Makes Perfect, is released this week. A concept album about the life of Italian communist publisher Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, it is the follow-up to the pair's 2008 debut Stainless Style.
Gruff co-hosted an album playback with me on Saturday night on BBC Radio Wales, going through the new album track by track, and telling the extraordinary stories of the life of Feltrinelli. Listen to the programme on BBC iPlayer.
In this video, an online exclusive for BBC Wales, Gruff tells us a bit more about the album and the stage collaboration with Tim Price and National Theatre Wales.
