A nice weekend ahead

It's not looking bad for the weekend, much more settled after a blustery few days with a misty start today and turning brighter later.

So, after a murky morning with mist and fog being slow to clear, we'll see an improving picture over the weekend.

It will be drier with bright spells with variable amounts of cloud.

Any showers and winds will ease with highs between 13 celsius in Pembrokeshire and 15 in Flintshire.

Mist will develop again overnight bringing a dull start tomorrow but it should turn into a fine day for most with just a few isolated showers in the west.

Temperatures will be in the mid teens again.

There's a slight change in the weather for Sunday, starting out dry but thicker cloud and drizzle will spread from the south east in the afternoon with stronger winds.

It's warmer for the start of next week - not quite an Indian summer! But definitely on the milder side for late October.
