Adam Walton playlist and show info: Saturday 6 October 2012

Adam Walton

This week's show is now available via the iPlayer. Please visit the link any time between now and the start of the next programme.

There's very little faff this week. It's all about amazing Welsh creativity: fascinating sounds for fascinated people. Something like that.

We have a brand new track from The Joy Formidable - whose new EP Cholla will be released on Atlantic Records/Canvasback on 22 October. Remarkably, Tempo (Strong Weak Weak) doesn't make their second album Wolf's Law, which raises my expectations even higher for the album's release in January.

Dyl Mei makes his debut appearance on the show. He's one of Wales' foremost musicologists... well, music lovers/vinyl junkies/crate diggers. Check out his excellent Welsh music blog here - Dyl treats us to something incredibly rare and brilliant from Cleif Prendelyn.

And there is music. So much music, from so many varied sources, from all over Wales. We have debut plays for Geoffnet, Valley Lines, Me One, Big Si, The Safe House, Jessica, Rosie Sleightholme, Middle Finger Salute, Raphaelites (happy 18th birthday Dale!), Anthony Bozzola and Charlotte Church (on this programme, at least).

Please send new releases / demos / recommendations & tips / gig info / any correspondence you care to share to themysterytour@gmail.com, and via the BBC Introducing Uploader (for music).
