Henry Widdicombe, the founder of the Machynlleth Comedy Festival, spoke to BBC Radio Wales' Jamie Owen yesterday about the upcoming event.
This year's festival makes use of the extra bank holiday, due to the Royal Wedding, and runs from Friday 29 April until Sunday 1 May.

Comedians on the line-up include Josie Long, Maeve Higgins, Simon Munnery, Daniel Kitson and Jon Richardson - who was supposed to perform at last year's inaugural festival but was prevented by the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud.
Isy Suttie, better known as Dobby from the successful sitcom Peep Show, is also to return having performed at last year's festival. Plus rising Welsh comedian Elis James is set to appear - Elis blogged for the BBC Wales Arts website during his stint at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.
