This week's show is now available via the BBC iPlayer. Please visit the link any time between now and the start of the next programme.

For the last fortnight I've been living in the Middle Ages, deprived of some of the most basic human amenities. You know: Facebook, Twitter, eBay and Little Master Test Cricket (at your peril, trust me!).

My house hasn't had any internet, see. A popular British telecommunications company had decided to upgrade the board at my exchange. The exchange is a mile and a half from my house, but the only way to get them to press the right button on the board was to call people 10,000 miles away, repeatedly, for 14 days. And nights. Then they sent a guy out from the exchange a mile and a half away and he fixed the problem (pressed the right button) in half an hour.

Still, I got to read a book (Little Dorrit - excellent!) and I even spoke to some real people away from my desk, which was most disconcerting.

The biggest problem (and blessing in disguise) of being web-less was not having access to the BBC Introducing Uploader. For the last fortnight, new music has been washing up in my inbox like mud from a flooding river.

In amongst that mud, the (very) occasional gem. I've scattered 17 such gems - from artists I have never played before - throughout this week's show. Everything from throat shredding hardcore to a ribald sea shanty.

It's a bewildering showcase of Welsh talent. I do hope you find sounds to inspire you.

In amongst the newness, godfather of the Welsh underground, Alan Holmes, reminds us of the deliberately contrary (and rather defensive, but still fascinating) Blue Halos.

Lara Catrin translates something beautiful from Y Plu (more, please!) and Ben Hayes ignores a throat infection to bring us something cool and French.

Please send new releases/demos/gig info/any correspondence to: themysterytour@gmail.com or via the BBC Introducing Uploader.

Be advised that we strictly monitor all musical submissions for admissible levels of fake vibrato (i.e. none). Music that doesn't pass this test will be dumped at sea in lead lined barrels. Future generations will get what they deserve in this respect. Say 'NO!' to fake vibrato now!
