Strictly 2017: Prepare for tonight’s perfect pairings

It’s almost that time again… time to dust off your dancing shoes, slip on some sequins and reach for the glitter as we sashay to 7pm for a brand new series of Strictly!

As always, an incredible night of dancing delights lies ahead, with our glamorous studio ready and raring to go. This year’s Celebrities have also been well and truly Strictlyfied, swapping the comfort of their everyday lives for a crash course in all things ballroom, and are now ready to meet their professional dancing partners.

As well as our incredible returning Pros, we’ll be welcoming three new faces to the Strictly family — Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden and Dianne Buswell — who are more than ready to strut their stuff on the dancefloor. Not forgetting our brand new head Judge Shirley Ballas, who will be taking her seat at the most important table in showbiz for the first time.

Our 2016 champion couple Joanne Clifton and Ore Oduba will also be returning to the ballroom for one last hoorah, treating us to an amazing rendition of their unforgettable Jive.

If that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got live music from extra special guests Rita Ora and Shania Twain to really get the party started, plus an extra special tribute to Strictly legend Sir Bruce Forsyth.
