Get ready for Strictly 2017 week one!

Tonight is THE night. The night you’ve all been waiting for. The night when Strictly returns to our screens for yet another glorious, glittering year. Can you tell we’re excited?

In tonight’s bumper show, our 15 celebrities will show us what two weeks of hard work amounts to, strutting their stuff on the dancefloor for the very first time. Of course, their Pro partners will be in tow, which also means you’ll get a first glimpse at Strictly newbies Nadiya Bychkova, Dianne Buswell and Amy Dowden’s talents.

Our brand new Head Judge Shirley Ballas will also be taking to her seat for the first time, dishing out her observations on all of the couples’ dancefloor debuts. But they can all rest fairly easy tonight — if they can keep the first week jitters at bay, that is — as the public vote doesn't open until next Saturday. *phew*
