It seems like a lifetime since Abbey and Aljaz Waltzed away with the Strictly Series 11 Glitterball and we won’t lie - we’ve been in Strictly mourning since. Real life just isn’t as sparkly. (And there’s certainly no sign of anyone wearing spandex on their way to work.)
But finally, the moment has come.

Expect the usual: sequins, spray-tans and spadex; plenty of pizazz; and a whole load of gliz and glam. On top of all this, expect to meet our 15 new celebrity contestants, three new dancers and our brand new presenter, Claudia Winkleman. But don’t worry, Brucie won’t be away forever. In fact, he may be closer than you think….
So sit back, relax, and let our dancers do all the work as you enjoy the first Strictly of the Series.
