Tony Jacklin has become the first celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. The golf legend faced Julien MacDonald in the Dance Off and sadly for Tony the Judges decided he didn’t have the requisite swing to stay in the competition and unanimously saved the fashion designer.
Len said: “Tony you’ve been one of my golfing heroes all of my life, sadly I have to say I would have gone with Julien and Janette, but you’re still one of my heroes.”
Reflecting back on the results of tonight’s show, Tony said: “I’m a tough pupil. Aliona is a wonderful teacher. I’m going to stick to golf I think. I have enjoyed myself, it’s been a glimpse into another world which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I did my best.”
