It's time to get ready for Week Seven!

Can you believe we've passed the halfway point for Strictly Come Dancing 2023?

The fight for the Glitterball continues and the competition is tougher than ever before. Tonight we've got some incredible performances in store, including a Jive, Samba, Rumba and not one, but two captivating Couple's Choice routines. Brace yourself for an evening brimming with entertainment!

Each pair will bring what it takes to the Ballroom in the hopes to bag a place in Week Eight, but it's down to you to help decide who stays. Listen out for Claudia announcing that the vote is open towards the end of the show and head to the homepage to save your favourite! All the information about the vote can be found here.

    Leyton is an amazing dancer however that was yet another show dance. There’s no way an untrained celeb could do those turns and a cartwheel with no hands….not sure either are normally in a jive. I’m sorry Leyton but I can’t vote for you.

      I definitely couldn't. I would have waited another year. But perhaps she felt that she needed something to focus on and hopefully it's doing that for her. We're all so individual, especially with something like grief.

    That was very beautiful. I can’t accept that this is a “sob story” as that seems to imply false emotion. Anyone losing a partner as they approach a thirtieth anniversary, is not selling a tale. CC at its best. If you’ve got to have it, say something that matters- as Rose did before her.

    Ok so I need the box of tissues. That was so emotional from Annabel and I am in awe of the fact that she managed to hold it together. Kudos to Johannes for being a great partner. Well done ❤️

      Totally agree - JoJo is a beautiful gorgeous soul. I’ve met him and he’s just gorgeous inside and out. That was a beautiful emotional dance. How she got through it without crying is a huge credit, I was in bits throughout.
      Thoroughly deserved high marks. For once, judges got it right.

    What a moving dance from Annabel and Johannes….a very emotional dance and tribute to her husband, Mel. What a rock, Johannes is and such a wonderful partner for Annabel.

    Ellie is such a joy to watch. She truly looks as if she is enjoying every moment. A beautiful dance Ellie and Vito.

    Blimey those 10's were a complete joke. A jive is a jive, a show dance with some jive elements is something different. The brief was a jive, this was not a jive.

    It was so lovely seeing Amy on Stand Up to Cancer , heartbreaking also as she discussed how the treatment has affected her fertility. The good news was that she has her last chemo session next week. Good wishes in abundance for Amy and indeed for all suffering.

    I look forward to seeing her back on the dance floor next year.

    Shirley and Motsi so desperate for Layton to be in final. Their marks were a joke! That was NOT a jive - it was a “look at me” show dance again 😡😡😡 he gets away with it - Shirley gives a 10, even though his feet weren’t right, then she criticises Angela for her toes !! Such blatant hypocrisy. Think she realises she way over marked Angela last week, and perhaps read the negative comments - tried to do right, but failed miserably at the very start. She definitely needs to go!

      There’s no need for them to be desperate. They’re the judges. Provided that they are both determined to put him through nothing can stop them, unless he breaks a leg or something and is forced to retire on medical grounds. If he’s in the DO and Craig and Anton vote against him he’ll still go through on Shirley’s casting vote. The judges have no power in the final, or much control over who ends up in a DO, but who wins the DO they do control.

      But I can’t honestly see why they should care desperately for Layton or anyone else to reach the final. If a celeb isn’t popular they are not going to win, after all.
