Good-Bri! Brian Conley is the fourth celebrity to leave Strictly 2017
Despite treating us to a fun-filled, energetic Jive — complete with unmissable yellow outfits — Week Five saw Brian Conley and Pro partner Amy Dowden bow out of Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
The public vote landed the pair in the Dance Off against Simon Rimmer and his partner Karen Clifton, who were also part of the four-way tie at the bottom of the leaderboard. However, Judges Craig and Darcey chose to save Simon for another week running, automatically sending Brian home after five weeks in the competition before Head Judge Shirley had to make her decision.
When casting the deciding vote, Darcey said: “This is incredibly difficult with these two fabulous men and it’s not easy at all to choose between them. But I am going to save the person who had a more finished performance which was Simon and Karen.”

Brian and Amy narrowly missed their chance to dance in Halloween Week taking place next Saturday, while Simon and Karen saw themselves saved for second time.
Ever the joker, Brian spoke to Tess about his time on Strictly, saying: “I have loved everything about this, I truly have. It’s one of the greatest shows, it’s a family show. And you know what, there has been someone by my side all the way through this journey who has been just there every moment and that is... Aston! I love him and I am really going to miss him."
He followed it up by sharing his feelings for his Pro partner, adding: "I love this lady and I want her to be on this show for ever and ever because I want everyone out there to know how special this lady is because she is a star and I love her to bits.”
Don't forget to watch It Takes Two tomorrow night at 6:30pm on BBC Two, where this delightful duo will be sharing even more of their feelings about their departure.
