Last week’s Strictly saw Richard Arnold snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, but at the expense of Colin Salmon.
This week 10 couples will be dancing for a place at Wembley! It looks like some of our stars may already have one well-placed foot in the next stage already – Louis, Denise, Kimberley, Lisa and Dani continue to wow the judges and recently Michael’s underwhelming start has given way to two powerhouse performances that have seem him surge up the leaderboard. However, there are some celebs that must be looking over their not-so-perfectly framed shoulders – Nicky and Fern continue to have consistent scores, but they languish at the wrong end of the board. This week Richard will be hoping to avoid another dance off and unfortunately as soon as Victoria seems to get into gear, the chain just comes off her bike.
This week there will be EIGHT different dance styles on display. Here is a complete list of Saturday’s dance routines:
Dani & Vincent – Tango to ‘Rumour Has It’ by Adele
Denise & James – Paso to ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes
Fern & Artem – Salsa to ‘You’ll Be Mine (Party Time)’ by Gloria Estefan
Kimberley & Pasha – Viennese Waltz to ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri
Louis & Flavia – Waltz to ‘Moon River’ by Andy Williams
Lisa & Robin – Foxtrot to ‘This Could Be (An Everlasting Love)’ by Natalie Cole
Michael & Natalie – Salsa to ‘I Want You Back’ by The Jackson 5
Nicky & Karen – Foxtrot to ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ by Michael Buble
Richard & Erin – Charleston to ‘Pencil Full Of Lead’ by Paolo Nutini
Victoria & Brendan – Quickstep to ‘Luck Be A Lady’ by Frank Sinatra
Keep your eyes peeled for the valiant Ian Waite, who has stepped in to help Denise learn this week’s routine because of James’ injured foot. But Mr Jordan will be dancing on Saturday – as revealed on it Takes Two last night…
So, what do you think of our couples in training? Let us know your thoughts, and tune into Strictly, this Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
