All the scores from Week Eight

Tonight our eight remaining couples pulled out all the stops to save their place on the bus to Blackpool next week.

As the first male celebrity to tackle the Argentine Tango, Danny absolutely nailed his routine with Oti. The duo scored a respectable 38 points, launching them to the top of the leaderboard.

The tens were also out in force for Louise and Kevin, who received one for their showstopper of an American Smooth. Scoring 37 points overall, Bruno praised Louise’s performance by saying: “This is your leading lady diva moment!”

Sitting comfortably in third place are Claudia and AJ whose Viennese Waltz had all four judges in a spin. Len said it was “a performance full of maturity.” She's still waiting for that elusive 10 though... perhaps Blackpool could be her week?

The bottom of the leaderboard is just as memorable as the top. Ed and Katya’s Salsa to Gangnam Style will, no doubt, go down in Strictly history… but was it enough to get him to Blackpool?
