It's Week 8... and all eyes are on Blackpool

Many of our Strictly stars have already ticked some major goals off their lists — from making it to Halloween to passing the halfway point — but now one of the biggest milestones is within actual reach: Blackpool.

So tonight, our couples will be pulling out all the stops in hope of soaring through to next week and straight up that iconic landmark to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. As a result, we'll get to witness some of their most challenging routines yet, including the very first Argentine Tango of the series from Alexandra and Gorka.

But if there's anything we've learnt from last week's shock exit, it's that no one's safe from having that Strictly dream pulled from under their feet. So make sure you're watching BBC One at 6.45pm to see which of our couples will stun us in the hope of securing a spot in the competition next week.
