Charlotte Hawkins is the third celebrity to depart the Dancefloor

Saturday night was a huge show! We had some of the biggest highs of the series so far. But the lows are saying goodbye to another couple.

After the public vote Charlotte and Brendan faced Davood and Nadiya in the dance off leaving the final decision in our Judges’ hands.

On Saturday night’s show Charlotte and Brendan aimed to impress with their wedding themed Jive. Although the cake may have had tiers the judges sadly didn’t and awarded the pair 19 points leaving them at the bottom of the leaderboard. Davood and Nadiya had their best result of the series so far scoring 29 but it wasn’t enough to save them from the dance off.

When it came to the Judges’ saving one of the couples Craig said, “I’d like to save the couple that I thought danced the best and who fixed a problem with a foot on the floor and that is Davood and Nadiya.”

Both Darcey and Bruno concurred with Craig, on a technically stronger performance. It was 4-0 in favour of Davood and Nadiya after Shirley agreed with her fellow Judges.

Charlotte told Tess, “I’ve had an amazing time, such an amazing time, it’s been brilliant from start to finish, it really has been. A huge thank you to Brendan who has just been fantastic, we’ve had such a great time going through all the dances, you’ve always been there for me, getting my back, there with the support.”

Brendan added, “I’m going to miss dancing with her, I’ve had one of the best Strictly’s in 15 years and it’s hard for me to even say that and I feel really emotional.”
