I'd like to know why the team blogs are closed for comment. Don't think it happened last year. They were open al the time weren't they?

@mattzings - there's been some sort of glitch (maybe they're on a different server or something) the team blogs haven't been closed on purpose - and it happened earlier in the week also.

Alex defo gave it a good go, lots of fun, but could have been sharper.

Alex, as a jive well, it was no jive. As a rock an roll well it was no rock-and-roll either. As a performance, it looked nice and clean and entertaining. The teddy on the couch gives 8.

Hated the opening and Alex's upper body seemed a bit stiff. She certainly gave it some welly though and really seemed to enjoy it. Kicks and flicks a bit off sometimes.

Liked Alex's jive. She was energetic but I did feel she looked heavy in the legs.

With Alex it was strange, it was like watching an athlete not a performer. It was teeth gritted we're gonna do this, but not danced all the way through.

I would love to watch the show - last week I managed to get it on my computer (BBC isn't available on my TV unitl I can get a new aerial!) but tonight there is a notice saying it's unavailable for legal reasons....anybody know why? there seems to be no consistency about this, and I can't find an explanation on the BBC websites... nor any means to complain (that's clever!)

Turned on my computer to watch SSD and it says it's not on the internet now for legal reasons. Does anyone know what's going on?

Sorry to say I thought that was well overmarked even though I love Alex and James.

I think that is Alexes most confident latin performance to date. She deserved some positive comments even though there were obviously things to work on. Not sure about the intro with the doll though. Brought back memories of Colin Jacksons series 3 freestyle that effectively gifted the title to Darren Gough

Kicks might have been better if she'd worn heels!!??

Tess's dress has no detail or darting, guessing it's a BBC wardrobe we had sparkly green material, two armhole and a belt to gather it job. Looks it.

watchin on delay... thought alex ok, needed to point her toes a bit

Jive can be done in jazz shoes. I have done jive steps in jazz shoes before. I agreed on her not pointing her toes. It's a pet peeve for me.

American not very smooth!!!!

He was a little stiff for me, but I must admit it was rather good, 8 for me.

I thought it looked like Ola was blowing her nose all over Robbie in that vt.



I find that whenever Robbie does work on his own he looses his posture. It was ok but not wonderful.

Absolute Faff at start. Work done on the arms, is showing. Ickky lift, minced. Fun though, but heavish. Alex could learn from Robbie on stage presence.

Much more connection between Robbie and Ola this week, a lot better this week.Loved the arms. I quite enjoyed that

Robbie definetely handled that better than expected. He was struggling with that in training, particularly with dizziness when it came to the spins and it was nice to see a smile on his face and was suprised (following his previous comments) that Craig didn't mention this. Interesting that there is a leaderboard tie between the Jordan family

Harry is looking very unhappy tonight.

Sorry to say I am sounding negative and I don't mean to be. Robbie is greatly improved and he deserved his scores. I was more disappointed in Alex as I thought the dance lacked content. Like her and James alot though. Great partnership, they seem like good friends.

I think Harry is competitive hence the tense face, not just tonight but week before too.

Audley seemed to do very little actual dancing during that.
