Evening guys, my first blog this season. Loving it this year, glad Nancy has gone. Love Holly, Jason, Chelsee and Harry. Chelsee's Quickstep and Holly's American Smooth being personal faves so far!

Having some problem with the 5 yr old niece. She seems to think we should plug in the Wii ito the TV now.

Hi All, hope tonight is better than last week. Considering it is bonfire night, there has been not so much as a bang round were I live, maybe later.

Did Brendan read Dfer's comments about doing proper steps on stairs from 2 weeks ago? Shame Lulu just run down. Dfer 6

What the heck is Tess wearing today? She really should move away from the figure hugging dresses now.

Not bad by Lulu, I reckon a 7. Needed to be a bit sharper in parts!

Lulu, remembering all those steps can be difficult and if it's a tango there is also the posture and the staccato moves that make a good tango. Most of the steps were there The posture quit good. The staccato moves were not there. A decent tango not too bad. The teddy on the couch gives 7

Tess, if you are going to try and pull your dress down because you are embarrassed by it being short, don't wear it.

Thank goodness Craig is head judge. A proper critique.

Tess spends all week planning how she can look younger than Cat Deeley and always ends up looking like a fashion victim.

Oh dear! I had high hopes for JG, but she seems to be making friends rather that making fair judge. Lulu n Brendan didn't deserve an 8.



On that first dance, I predict that she'll give out four 10's.

He looks very loose upper body. Very relaxed. Indeed whole body, lloks floppy.

Jennifer Grey has come across well in interviews this week, but why oh why has she been chosen as Len's stand-in? Why not one of the pro dancers who are no longer performing? Seems to be another sign of a move towards the US style of the show. Shame.

Audley, well what shall we make of that. There were some walz-steps some were nice but Teddy did not like it. It did not flow and there was nos rise and fall.

For such a big fella he did well, Natalie does well with the choreography. 6 or 7 agree with all the judges comments

Audley was all down, but that has to be with his height compared to nat's. How much rise and fall can they achieve?

Oh come on judges, especially Jennifer that dance wasn't bad but 8 is 2 short of perfect and it wasn;t near that.

Anyone see a 10 coming from Jennifer

I think you have to remember with the American judges, they give you ten if you break wind and dish out nines and eights as though they were going out of fashion, I foresee many tens from her tonight.

The teddy on the couch is a Brucy fan. Do not touch Bruce!

Alesha to give a 10 ?

Everyone has a glittery poppy on but Bruce Forsyth. Just because he is a Sir, does he think it is above him to wear one.

At least Alesha will not be the silly high scorer tonight. The trouble is when you keep giving 8s for mediocre dances there is nowhere else to go when someone does a better (but not perfect) one

where was the bounce, where was the hip action?

Always love Harry's body shapes but would have liked to see faster footwork. Possibly the fault of the music whic doesn;t make me think of samba.

Sorry, I thought that was a bit weak from Harry this week. He looks like he has taken lessons from Robbie in thrusting and chest exposure. 7 max.

I didn't think that was Harry's dance.

Not his best dance I fear - too stilted. Not enough content either.

Harry, can do better and do much more. The choreochraphy was bad there were very little samba steps and the bounce? Did I miss something? Could have been much better. The teddy on the couch gives 7 for the dancing and 4 for choreochraphy.

Bruno is right. Harry can dance Harry need to do more to earn the 10's

Lots of Harry just standing there with Aliona walking round him, however his hip action was good. struggled with the samba bounce, not his best, 8 for me!!!

loveslondon, what I said was, "why isn't he wearing a glittery poppy". I know he is wearing a poppy.

I think Bruce is about as bad as he's ever been tonight. I'm sorry Bruce because you have flashes of brilliance like when you covered for Chelsee last week, but this stumbling and fumbling and repeated calls of 'look at this' and 'they're all standing up' are just not good enough for prime time television. Or any television.

I strongly object to the bbc departing from the wearing of the traditional RBL poppy in favour of a sparkling "dressy" product, as this will certainly lead to copycat purchase of commercially produced poppies. As an 88 yr old veteran who spent six hours so far this week standing in the cold raising money for the RBL Poppy Appeal I couldn't be more angry!

Great dance from Anita & Robin tonight - well done Robin for the choreography! It was so lively and enjoyable.

Dodgy start, good timing, great choreography. An 8 for me for Anita and Bobby

Anita's charleston was fun, not perfect in some places but it was nice.

what has happened to seeing the couples in training.........would rather see them dance than the silly stuff....

I'm surprised that none of the judges seems to realize that if you dance a samba to a song which is not Latin it's going to be incredibly hard to move like they expect you to move. Seems self-evident to me.

rumba time, always a difficult dance, but I reckon Jason could pull it off!

why o why do we have to have the "play acting" for heavens sake either show us the practice or dont!!

I really can't see the point of the rumba.....
