Edwina and Vincent leave Strictly

Hummmm.....interesting that Edwina loathed the Foxtrot so much. No wonder there was hardly any dancing in it, then.



Nancy, don't be fooled, you've got the sympathy vote and Anton's fanbase to thank. I just hope you get to show if you have any dance ability or not next week.

I'll miss Vinnie. I'm still clinging onto the hope of seeing him lift the Glitterball one day.

Completely agree, PennyDropper. Nancy is so frustrating - she really looks as if she should be able to do it. I'm sure she was paired with Anton in the thought that he would possibly have a halfway decent partner after last year's good-humoured debacle.

As soon as I saw Edwina and Vincent's cafe set up, the thought popped into my mind 'That's there to cut down on dancing time' and so it proved.



I'm annoyed that Audley was in the bottom two rather than Nancy. He didn't deserve that. I voted for him, incidentally.

Could we please stop giving celebrities preferential treatment (Anita Dobson) because of their spouses. The judges comments and marks were biased (she isn't the worst but please be honest - she has poor rhythm and technique). I would not be surprised to see Bryan May taking part in the show at a later date in his capacity as a rock lengend, but is this a reason for over marking his wife?

I think it's the right result. Edwina might think she is a sex object but I don't think the nation agrees and she also made it patently clear that she didn't like the Foxtrot. No point in staying in a dancing competition then!!!



Nancy will be the next to go I'm sure.



I agree with other comments about Audley - he certainly wasn't the worst dancer and he is obviously trying very hard.

At least Edwina finally got to do a foxtrot. She did smile whilst dancing and got into the spirit of things but someone had to go. Well done to her for trying - more than a lot of armchair critics ever do!

I was so sure it would be Anton and Nancy going tonight. Who would vote for them; I have always liked Anton but this year he did draw the short straw. Nancy has done very little to get the public on her side.

It is sad for Edwina that she had to leave this early in the series. She did at least try to dance unlike Ann last year. It was no disaster though because she was 2nd from bottom following a poor cha cha cha butI blame Vincent more though because of all the faffing about at the start of their foxtrot which meant there wasn't enough dance. All the extra long intro made me wonder whether he trusted Edwina but it does at least ensure there will be no politics in this years series.



I am glad that Nancey, Holly & Russell all got through. I'm not saying I am pleased for Nancey because of any good dancing but because of the feather boa incident on the 1st week. Her latin wasn't great but because of the feather boa incident we don't really know how good she is at ballroom although the little we saw suggested she might be okay at it. Russell and Holly on the other hand haven't done a ballroom yet so we will get a better idea of their own abilities next week.

It is a relief to know we won't have to put up with Vincent's sickly self-regard a moment longer. 'Cougar' Currie and Vincent were never contenders and we got the best result.



I was surprised to see Audley in the bottom two. Nancy has to shape up, throw off her regal air and compete. Anton is in his second year as the dutiful 'gentleman' partner - he deserves a break and Nancy, I'm sure, can deliver.

Agree it was great to see Claudia again on the sofa - I miss her on ITT but happy that Zoe is filling in. Claudia needs time with be with her new little one and the rest of her family.



I agree that Nancy & Anton should have gone first, as would have liked to see Vincent for another week, but Edwina & Vincent would have been on my danger list.



No way should Audley have been in the bottom two, he was no where near the worst dancer on Saturday night. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do when he gains some confidence and loosens up a bit!

I'm glad Nancy will get a chance to do Ballroom. It seems only fair after the Waltz nightmare. Plus, she's totally bonkers which I like :D

I agree that Audley can rightly feel hard done by having found himself in the bottom 2 but at the same time they survived which was the main thing. I am looking forward to seeing what dances the remaining 13 celebs will be performing for Broadway week but if Jasons comment is anything to go by it sounds like the ballroom of the week will be the tango. I personally feel that for Broadway week the Quickstep is a more appropriate ballroom dance

I think the public got it spot on this week The Cougar and The Italian Stud just didn't do it for me and as far as I can see it would be more of the same cheesy routines and not so convincing dancing we got a fair decision.



But I urge the GBP get rid of Nancy next week she only got through because of Anton's fanbase and on the sympathy vote but vote her off next week either that or Anton is going to have to come up with a serious dance routine no props no cheesy grins just the two of them a dance floor and a great showstopping Broadway routine and perhaps just perhaps the public may take her seriosuly.



Because if better couples go out at the expense of this sulking Pre Madonna the novelty and the joke will soon wear off will be interesting to see what dance routine they are doing.

Edwina blew it with her arrogance and impoliteness in front of the judges. As for Audley, he was sadly in that group of people that look safe so most people don't bother voting for them. I'll be giving my vote to Audley next week because us boxers have to stick together - just kidding I'm no boxeer, I can run away though. As for Kristina, what a red dress that was.

Argh! I came on the site to watch the results show as my recording didn't work...and the result was posted on the front page! Spoilers should never be on full view! Please don't do that again Strictly!

I was really glad to see Edwina go, I just felt she was too arrogant for her own good. However, I think it's a shame we won't be seeing more of Vincent. Anton needs to get his finger out and stop messing about. I don't think he's doing Nancy any favours by not taking the competition seriously and treating it like another Anne Widdecombe joke act.

Can I just say how lovely it was to see "Claud" on Strictly. I have missed her on IT2. Zoe is o.k. but she is just not the "WINKLEMAN". Hope she is back next year.

I thought Kristina looked like Jessica Rabbit in that red dress, totally va-va-voom. I'm a bit sad to see Edwina go but I knew she was in danger so I'm not surprised by the result. I'm sadder for Vincent though because despite the faux-arrogance he did make me smile. I think unless Anton can pull something amazing out of the bag for next week then he and Nancy are next because I don't think Nancy has many female fans (and lets face it women are more likely to vote) and Anton's fan base can only go so far. Looking forward to next weeks extravaganza.

Nancy and Anton should have gone, I like Anton but Nancy can't dance she doesn't come across as a likeable person and she doesn't even have comedy value.

Im glad edwina is gone, it means I dont have to put up with another of her pieces to camera when shes all over Vincent and not in a good way - she made me feel uncomfortable. Dont get me wrong I love Vincent - hes actually my fave dancer but she made it painful. Im supporting Robbie and Jason I think this year (at the moment).

Other celeberity dancers may make mistakes, but Edwina was uncomfortable to watch. I think that she was deluded as to what she really looked like. Anyway, now that she's gone, I think that Nancy should ask to be paired with Vincent. Anton Du Beke always seems to try and make his partners a laughing stock - other professionals support their partners, whereas he seems to totally disrespect them.

What is Anton doing with Nancy? He seems to be trying to turn her into a comedy act (ala Anne Widdicombe) - I have a feeling that she could actually dance given the right partner. She looks as though she has a temper on her so maybe she should put her foot down and get it him to do a proper (as opposed to a comic) dance next week!

I have to agree with agent_00_soul on this. In all his interviews it's all too jokey and all about Anton whereas the other pro dancers offer real support and constructive comments to their celeb partners. SCD should have partnered Vincent with Nancy from the outset - now that would have been something to savour!

I hope Vincent gets to showcase his many talents on the SCD dance floor through the pro routines.

Tonight's result is such a relief to so many of us. We all like a laugh, and Strictly over the years has taught us to be open-minded about who might be appealing/good, but Edwina's ability to talk through and over the judges, hosts and her partner made her appear overwhelmingly arrogant, rather than the wit she intended.

The best pro dancers exhibit their celebs to their best ability, Anton is becoming his own worst enemy he thinks hes stuck in Ann Widdecome mode - dance anton dance and who ever your partner is deserves to be given a chance please

Well how interesting things have become. I actually didnt think Edwina did that badly but she would talk across the judges and she was a bit smug. I think the warning to Nancy is a good one. Robbie is my dancer in the sweepstake at work and I ddint want to like him..a football thing.. but he was soooo good, I had to give him credit!! Surely Russel Grant wont be another John Sargeant??? or Anne Widdecome????

Interesting that Edwina being voted out coincides with the end of the Tory Party Conference this week. Seems wearing Tory blue hasn't helped her cause in keeping her on Strictly! Feel sorry for Vincent...

Agree with Ruby Slippers comments whole heartedly. Anton is his own worse enemy and is appearing more and more to just be an object of ridicule. Also fed up with his attempts at humour. Sorry Anton .... Please just dance. I know you have a rubbish partner ... but at least try!

Think Anton's just waiting for Brucie's job now. He's not making any effort any more. He looks like he's not enjoying teaching Nancy at all. He looked a lot happier last year even though he knew he wouldn't win.

As a long-time Anton fan I have to say the performances these past 2 weeks have been very poor. Nancy is someone, IMHO, who will antagonise the viewers rather than get a sympathy/humour vote, so he would do well to produce straight routines at which she either performs or flops. Anton is an excellent dancer and a sympathetic teacher, and I rather suspect working with Nancy is an absolute nightmare; she is much more of a diva than Russell, without his redeeming features!

Glad to see the lovely Erin doing much better with Rory, and I really enjoyed Alex Jones, which is a bit surprising as I feel she lacks pzazz on the One Show. She definitely benefited from performing to exactly the right music!

Forgot to ask, again,are there going to be supporters blogs for the various couples this year; They were hugely popular last series. Please, BBC, at least answer the question!

It's about time Anton was given a serious contender as a partner. He is always left with the lame ducks of the party. Edwina evidently thought she was 36, but that was just round the middle. She may have been a siren in her day but is just making herself look foolish. Nancy is no spring chicken either, and lacks the humility and modesty displayed by Lulu and Anita.

With you all the way about it being embarrassing ... I had to look away. No matter what Edwina looked like, Nancy was WAY worse - as well as vulgar and arrogant. Can't believe she's still in - it's got to be Anton's fan base...

Definitely surprised to see Audley in the bottom two! Give him a chance! even more surprised to see that Nancy wasnt in the bottom two. It's not the fact that she doesnt seem to be able to dance that's annoying but the fact that she does not seem to be willing to learn. She behaves like she knows it all and doesnt give a fig about the opinions of professionals; and she doesnt look that great either. Anton's comic ability has probably saved her this week, but that cant last much longer. whereas Ann W last year couldnt really dance either you could see she was trying, and her comic ability was on par with Anton's. There wasnt any doubt about whether their performances were meant to be funny. Nancy couldnt do funny. Sorry to see Edwina go. She wasnt the worst dancer, but I wont miss her "cougar" persona nor her comments about "ladies of a certain age".

I was frankly gutted that la diva Dell'Olio didn't leave the show - she is so arrogant and self-opinionated, and apart from wiggling her bottom she can't dance for toffee and is obviously not even trying. I feel sorry for Anton, but I think he knows he'd batting a losing wicket. I was astonished that Audley was in the bottom two as I think he IS trying despite the handicap of his size 17 feet! La diva to go next week please.

My thoughts are that Nancy's friends and family must have been very busy on their mobiles voting. She clearly cannot dance but hasn't realized it yet. Audley was miles better and Edwina was at least trying and enjoying it. Couldn't understand the judge's high markings for Anita, who was unsuited to this week's dance. If Nancy doesn't go next week, I shall be very suspicious.

What I find hard to believe is that Audley was in the bottom two. I allow myself £1 a week for voting (10p from a BT landline)--think I'll throw in a vote or two for him!!

It's a travesty ! Yes, I know if you don't like the rules don't play the game. But the point is that people are Not voted off, votes are to keep people in. Too many people, it appears, voted for Anton & (Lawrence) Dellallio...... The comedy is wearing very thin Anton. Dance !

I agree that we should wait until we have seen Nancy do a ballroom dance before we pass judgement.The unfortunate feather boa incident deprived us of that chance and it did look as if she might be quite good (even Len said so).

I think it was wrong for Edwina to be voted off as she was a bit better than lawrence Dellallio. Please will people voted for the best dancers not because they like and feel sorry for that person. It is a dance show not a beauty contest.

I quite agree - Anton is getting is really irritating and is not being fair to his partner who struggles with irony.

You know that it is a travesty when a celebrity contestant on a television dance competition is wrongly kept in or alternatively voted out when you go through ideas for how to make elimination a fairer system and it still is the wrong decision.



Even if the public was asked to vote to retain the best of what is just the bottom two in the leader-board Edwina should not be chosen. Nancy got a significantly worse score than even Ann for the Week 1 and did only two better for this week's score. She even got a lower mark from Alesha who gave Ann a 4 but Nancy a 2. So effectively the same thing has happened this year as last year. The voting system MUST be changed!

It was inevitable that Edwena would go early and I'm sure Victor was secretly prepared that it would probably be them to go first. I do hope that next series they will give Victor a half decent partner who will give him a chance to go all the way he certainly deserves that. Nancy and Anton should have left first, but I'm sure it won't be long now. Edwena at least gave Strictly her best shot. Audley and Natalie didn't deserve to be in the last two - considering he only had three days rehearsal at the start when everyone else had three weeks, he's done amazingly well, hopefully he will get much more support for next week's show dance.



Does any one know what the two dances will be? I thought someone mentioned the rumba as one of them but I may be wrong.

Who's Victor?

Regardless of who leaves I would like to know why that information is not on BBC's text service after the results show? I wasn't able to watch the results show on Sunday evening. It was not mentioned on the BBC breakfast show (or at least not before I left for work). I found out from the ITV breakfast show!

So glad Edwina Currie has gone. She had already started talking back at the judges the same as that tiresome woman last year.Stating that she hadn't danced the foxtrot before was ridiculous, as if all the others weren't in the same position. She appears to genuinely think there's something special about her but embarrassing is what she is. At least Nancy D is funny, whether deliberately or not. At least one other person will be glad of EC's departure....the names's Vincent ;)

Really pleased to see Edwina leave but shame for Vincent who is my favourite. I do think they all need to be given a tug about keeping quiet before the judges - and Anton especially seems to be getting too big for his boots! Loved "Dancing Queen" - at least Russell has some rythmn. Great to see Claudia even for a little while.

Why did poor Vincent get Edwina when Brendon is dancing with Lulu?



The Diva can barely walk, so dancing is not easy. So barely managed the group dance on the intro show and will not learn anything until she starts to listen to Anton and not her ego.

Poor Edwina,I know she wasn't the best but she definitely wasn't the worse! We all know who that is! I did say that if Nancy didn't go this week I wouldn't watch until she does, knowing me I wont be able to stay away. Please, please voting public, don't keep her in, she's not even entertaining, at least Russel gives us a laugh and Audley is trying so hard.

Perhaps if Anton rehearsed without a tie he might look less strangulated.Nancy is obviously a bit of a nutter, but she does have a personality even if it's a mad one. I've never seen anyone stamp their feet instead of dancing like she did. She has absolutely no finesse which is hilarious and the pairing of her with Anton is disastrous to say the least. Funny though.

Its a real shame she's gone already as she certainly isn't even in my top 5 worse dancers on the show. I'm glad we will still get to see Vincent dance in the group dancers each week though.

Why don't these people accept that the proffesional, in this case Vincent, actually does know best and it would be much better not to argue with them?! Anyway, Currie didn't have half the personality of Widdicombe, nor the sense of humour so she wasn't in the slightest bit endearing. Nancy off next please.

Edwina & Vincent were perhaps robbed of a week or two by the sadists who love to see car crash dancing. I just hope better dancers do not fall victim to the same sadists.

I do think it was right that Edwina left the competition this week although it is a shame they don’t get an extra week or two to prove what they are capable of achieving. Personally I didn’t find Edwina added anything to the show.

I am disappointed in Anton though, I don’t feel he is taking training seriously or helping Nancy learn to dance. I am certainly not suggesting she is in anyway an easy student and I appreciate that the footage may have been edited to portray them as the comic couple, either way his commitment consistently comes across as misguided this year. I would like to see Nancy through another week or so because I do suspect she has the ability to dance if and when she allows herself to, and Anton starts genuinely teaching her.

As for the others Audley didn’t deserve his bottom two placing, that was disappointing; Anita’s costume was a disaster and far too distracting; I felt Holly was overmarked and yet to gain any sense of competitive instinct; Chelsee is my biggest surprise and delight; I really hope Christina has the commitment and skill to train Jason technically, I am nervous she will let him down and can’t help feel that he would flourish more with a partner such as Natalie.

I am looking forward to Saturday already!

This weeks performance looked like some comedy/music hall act - and a poor one at that.

For goodness sake make Nancy take notice and get her dancing instead of cavorting about.

Not sad to see Edwina go. Totally agreed with Len that their cafe setting at the start of their routine took far too long and left little time for the foxtrot - very disappointing. The fact that she constantly spoke over the judges etc didn't endear her to me either.



Nancy to go next though - that wasn't dancing - it was stomping around looking totally silly.



Didn't agree with Audley being in the bottom two. Despite having size 17 feet, he wasn't the worst dancer.



Loving Russell (and Flavia), they just look as if they are having so much fun.

Nancy should have gone, Anton oh Anton what are you doing maybe you should politely decline the show next year if your as disillusioned with it as you now appear, after having spent a few years feeling sorry for you in relation to your partners I'm now not sure if its not you that's at fault! maybe you want to be the comedy turn?

In my opinion Nancy Dell'Olio should have been in the bottom two and the one to be voted out. What more can you expect though, as over the years it has been the norm for viewers to vote off dancers who are progressing through the weeks and voting off dancers who should be kept on. Strictly has gone down in my estimation as a programme to enjoy on a Saturday night. It is now just a gimmicky programme to keep viewers who like to watch celebrities being humiliated.

I think that in the first few weeks there are any number of celebrities that can go. There is already a clear divide of 'those that have' some ability and 'those that don't'. So long as it's any one of 'those that don't' that goes at this stage it doesn't really matter if it's Edwina or Nancy or anyone else. Let's just make sure we keep in 'those that do' for later in the competition when things really hot up ....

I agree with most of the comments about Edwina going & Anton & the mad football manager botherer. I do think he is just acting as the court jester but I also suspect that in the training that we don't see, her Italian holiness is harder to control than a pack of wild hyenas, and probably already thinks that she is a far superior ballroom dancer than he is, so I also hope she is booted off next week. If common sense prevails (some hope with the SCD voting public!) it should be Ms D'Ellolio off next, followed by Audley next & perhaps Dan the week after (then Lulu & Anita after that). I hope Russell stays in for a few weeks longer because he & Flavia are obviously having a blast & the last time she looked this happy was with Matt Di Angelo. Was it just me, or was anyone else glad about Len's put down to Aliona about her ill judged comments on ITT in the week? These pro dancers need to accept that Len is a God who has forgotten more about proper dancing than that flame haired little minx will ever learn, and furthermore should be made to bow at his feet when receiving his judgement upon their sorry souls.

Vincent is playing a part with his arrogance. Anton always seems to be given a no-hoper and so on. I found all the references to Russel's "Dancing Queen" routine on a FAMILY SHOW deeply disturbing and I hope he isn't around for much longer if this is not nipped in the bud. Still, in spite of the strange voting patterns in the early shows Strictly viewers usually choose the right people to get into the later stages. Edwina, apart from being too loud, I feel suffered from representing the wrong political party when it came to the votes. Nancy, in spite of her wardrobe malfunction, was awful and should have gone.



I'm supporting Aliona and Harry, Erin and Rory, Kristina and Jason, Artem and Holly and Ola and Robbie this year. Hedging my bets? of course!

Clearly the song Russell danced to was chosen to be a bit inuendo-ish, and as long as he didnt object himself then it's not for anyone else to feel offended on his behalf surely. He is deliberately playing the camp card and I think that you have to accept that a good percentage of the folk involved in Strictly are, happliy, gay.I watched a One show a few months ago on which the presenter, having introduced Seb Coe and Ian Mckellan noted that it was not every day that the show had two titled guests at the same time. To this ian McKellan said"Ah, but a Queen is worth more than a Lord". It was shortly after seven pm and I dont think anyone was offended. Edwina was too loud, too vulgar and tedious with her unwelcome flirting. She no longer represents any political party as she is no longer a politician. Praise be. I dont really understand your first sentence about Vincent, but I do think that Nancy is hilarious. Unfortunately though she is being laughed at ,not with, for which Anton should be ashamed really. It's ok to be a comedian's stooge, but only if you are aware of it.

Nancy Dell'Olio was terrible and her narcissism added to that was the last straw: she should have been voted off. Edwina at least is fun (so far). But let's not replicate the horrid Anne Widdecombe chapter this year, and let the best win, not the worst.

Why does everyone feel sorry for Anton? This is his (well paid) job! Dancing must be one of the best ways to earn a living. The girls never humiliate their male partners if they cant dance, Anton should take a leaf out of their books.John Sargent was/is a dear man, but not really glamorous, but still Kristina was no different with him than she would have been with some young Adonis. There have been other male celebs with no rhythm,less charisma and two left feet but their partners have always been patient and kind. Jo Wood couldnt dance but her partner( I think it was Brendon) always supported her and never allowed her to be humiliated.Last year Ann Widdecombe humiliated herself by refusing to go with the spirit of the show and thereby lowered the standard but that doesnt give Anton the green light to turn SCD into a pantomime again.(imo of course)

Lily pickle @82 I agree. Anton ought to show Nancy more respect and choreograph a sensible routine. He's the pro. He needs to behave like one. Fair enough he laughed along with Ann but he's making a fool of Nancy - and she doesn't need any help on that score!

I thought Edwina and Vincent would be in the bottom two and maybe get voted off, I think it was Edwinas comments to Vincent when the judges were trying to comment to them after they had danced, but Edwina kept saying to Vincent I told you Len would say that, didnt I say that, it maybe got on people nerves,the old Edwina showing her true self, I felt sorry for Vincent realy, guess hes never gone out in the first round before, but hey we can still see hes wonderfull dancing when he dances with the pro dancers and maybe Flavia when they have the singer/groups singing before the final vote off, Im looking farward to next weeks s.c.d and all week we have i.t.t, wander what Edwina will say for herself on tonights i.t.t, think Nancy will be next to go, but the public do love Anton though, so maybe they will be in s.c.d for a while longer, anyway take care everyone have a good week

The politicians never know when to shut up and listen do they? They are so used to bellowing to get their points made in the House of Commons that they continue to do it everywhere. Widdie was the same last year.



You could see that Alicia was cross when she got shouted down. I have nothing against Edwina but I think that was what annoyed the public.

Edwina is old enough to be Vincent's mother, so to see her fawning over him and making out that she was some kind of sex siren, was just plain embarrassing. I couldnt wait to see her go and I think a lot of people thought the same, hence the lack of public vote. She should have acted her age!!

Yet again the person who's the worst dancer and gave the worst performance, Nancy, was not in the bottom two and not voted off the show. Edwina wasn't brilliant but was better than Nancy and Edwina deserved to stay at least another week. Vincent will be missed.

Kristina had no-hopers at least 2 years in a row and she behaved with dignity and patience.No excuse I'm afraid, BaddancingBadger for Anton this year.I expect some of the pro dancers last year were seriously hacked off last year when they were hoofed off in favour of a panto double act.this year Anton's behaving more like a Diva than a Diva.

I can only think the apathy towards Edwina comes from her political past. Politics is very divisive and runs deep.

I completely agree with Tracey - Edwena just looked undignified especially last week when she ended up flat on her back with legs in the air showing everyone her knickers! On It Takes Two tonight Vincent told us that he could have gone two ways with Edwena either choreographed something to make people laugh or taught Edwena to dance a foxtrot - surely the professional dancers have to at least try to teach the celebs to dance and not keep taking the easy way out. Ola is a good example this week, she's worked so hard with Robbie - thought he was easily the most improved celeb on the show.

Evening Strictlyites. Much enjoyed seeing Robbie this evening. When his name was mentioned as one of the celebs for this years show my immediate thought was "oh no". However he has very much changed my attitude towards him. He is coming across as a charming and funny man and I like that there is a mutual respect and friendship building with Russel. He seemed very touched about when Russel was more happy for his score than for his own dance. Liking him more each time I see him.



Sorry to say but hoping Nancy is off this next weekend.

Great ITT tonight - love the regular Craig slot at top of the show - it gives him a chance to explain his marking which are sometimes a mystery to us - like Zoe's interview technique she's now relaxing into the show and making it her own. Would it be possible to increase Friday night's ITT to one hour in length? It would be wonderful if we could have ten minutes with Zoe talking to a celebs panel on all aspects of what we can expect from the couples on the Saturday live show i.e. hear what music they will be using, their dresses, and comments on their latest rehearsal tapes. If it's not possible this year maybe it could be considered for the next series? Still no official team names I notice are they likely to be announced soon?

I do wish that for at least one year Anton would get a half decent partner. This year he has not only got another one who has apparently two left feet but also an unappealing personality too. The former is something he can work with, as seen with previous partners, but I fear the latter may prove his downfall. I love Anton and the way he is such a gentlemen, but I feel his fanclub may start deserting him to rid us off that unfortunate woman!

I wasn't surprised that Edwina was in the bottom two as she wasn't one of the better dancers but was really surprised to see Audley there. He didn't deserve to be in the bottom and it should have been Nancy who was in the bottom but somehow she avoided it.

I always think it is sad when someone leaves the show so early. I think they should all be allowed to compete for, say six weeks, and then have six couples leave in the same week. This would give everyone a fighting chance to improve and no-one would have to be the 'first' to leave.

Have to take issue with Neil's comment about Anita Dobson getting preferential treatment and marks due to being married to Brian May; I really rate her dancing; her errors were pointed out and she had to suffer one of Craig's unhelpful comments about looking like Bonny Langford but as Craig went on to say, despite that she did dance well and deserved the marks she got. I would however take issue with why everyone is being marked so high so early on. If you get an 8 in week 2,

Was disappointed that Nancy was not voted off - What a Diva! She looks bored with everything and does not seem to interact with the rest of the crew. Also have to say that I was very impressed with Robbie Savage especially after the first week, he looked very debonaire. Harry is my favourite at the moment to win, he can certainly dance and when the nerves are in check then we will see great things from him me thinks.

DferPolarBear - I was actually counting the first week how many times she said she'd done the show. Got to 20 something I think and lost count :)



Liking Zoe on ITT though; Claudia's fabulously high shoes couldn't have been easy to step into, and she's doing good.
