Bruno's we have same favourites, Alex, Robbie and Jason. I'd didn't order them though. Holly will do well, just doesn't need polar bear support, and I don't think Russell we be the disappointment. You know Tory MP's , they don't like turning and that can't be good as a dancer.

Poor Flavia,(she's my favourite) teamed with Russel Grant, as they say"Not a Snowball's chance in ....".

That time of year again Strictly fever takes over-just watched the pairing up show Artem has struck lucky again!! and Poor Flavia and Vincent. Looking forward to seeing Harry and Aliona and Jason and Kristina.

Ok just watched the line up and once again poor Anton has been screwed, why oh why can he not be given half a chance to show off his talents and skills as a dancer and be given a girl under 30. Whats he get a prima donna with a nasty gob. Jason is looking good.

Saw that it was SIR (don't you forget it) Bruce and turned off.

If I'm going to watch any of this it'll be either iplayer/recorded - so I can skip Bruce's bits.

Once he got the knighthood, he should have bowed out.

Poor old Anton.....still at least it not Edwina.Having said that she may turn out to be amazing !!!!!!!

I'm feel a bit sorry for Vincent. He was due a decent partner. And Artem seems to have been favoured by being given a partner that on paper is similar to the person he won with last year.

I was so hoping to see Anton and Holly paired up that would have been so amazing!!!

Anton may as well had Edwina or at least given him Russell he would have turn that into a good laugh

Thought the show had the right feel-good factor about it tonight. Shame Alesha is back though. Had hoped she would have been replaced as Jared was. Wondered why Artem got a partner in the young and fit category again - although Holly does look as if she's enjoyed a few pies

Well we now know who is with who. Kristina and Jason stand out to me as a good pairing. Also Artem and Holly. Looking forward to series however must say did not enjoy group dances by Professionals tonight - there was too much going on.

83. So agree. Thought the dance with the capes was one big mess. They need to remember that the show is for television and simple shapes look better if there are more than a couple of dancers

Jason Donovan - watch out for him, he could be good. Lulu didn't want Brendan, They either going to get on with each other or not. Roll on the 30th Septemper. Happy that Kristina got some one worth while because since she being in Stirctly, she had bad dancers.

Lulu definately didn't want Brendan, but I think Brendan might have met his match with Lulu. He won't be able to bully her around. Not so bad matches for some but for others erm, well lets just see. Looking forward to it can't wait. I've applied for tickets again this year might be 3rd time lucky.

Does any one else think someone does'nt like Anton.....I am starting to see a pattern forming.

Everyone thought that Anton would get Edwina. I reckon he will turn Nancy into a brill dancer! He deserves to have some success after last year!

Great show tonight could the drummer be a dark horse must have good timing but drummers tend to be a bit dumb. At least Anton has got something to get his hands onto.

Good show. Just hoping Anton does better this year.

Some interesting pairings - Alex Jones could be the dark horse of the lot - don't know who the young blonde one is from Hollyoaks or whatever program it was but will be surprised if she can remember her way to the dance floor,never mind what she has to do when she gets there - there will only be 2 things that keep her in the competition!!!!!

Some interesting pairings. Olla looked pleased with her partner, and perhaps he could be better than the other footballers they've had on in the past. Think Robin and Anita could Gel well, although he does look to me more like a man who's come to read the gas meter than a dancer. Artem couldn't hide his feelings when he thought he was getting Edwina, which was quite amusing.



Thank goodness they've got rid of Jared - the new bloke looks like he might be able to dance, which is an advantage. But I still miss Brian and Matthew!



For me, though, the big concern is - have the producers learned from the debacle that was last year's show and dispensed with the props, the gimmicks, the silly themed evenings, and letting every dance break hold and have lifts so that it's like watching an American Smooth competition rather than a ballroom dancing competition?

I think people are underestimating Nancy. She could be a very good dancer.



I'm more worried about Anton handicapping her in the Latin. He needs to up his game in that department. No more more cheesy routines! Nancy deserves better.

And there you have it I will make my official verdict when I've watched it but looking at the partnerships some will shine while some will crash and burn.



And yes Anton has broken the curse and finally got himself a decent partner someone he can work with well try to work with in Nancy Dell'lolio we'll see how that goes.



Personally I like the pairings but I think Harry Judd I think he's up the creek without a paddle or a prayer because personally he could not have drawn a worser partner in Aliona Vilani.



Now don't get me wrong Aliona is a great dancer but really the last 2 celeb partners she had she treated them like fashion accesories like male backing dancers all I can say is Harry's going to have nothing to do except flash the flesh and just dance round her and be in the background.



Just my opinion at this stage I'll make my assessment after I've watched the show which I have Sky Plused.

Oh and Holly Valance and Artem expect some serious catfights between herself and Artem's girlfriend and last years celeb winner Kara Tointon the claws are well and truly out and sharpened.

Nancy might be a dark horse.

Jason looks like he,s taking it seriously already, just love him! Antonio,s lucked out again, Nancy looks a nightmare to work with, he'll have to use even more charm than usual to get her to be any good. So fed up with Anton and erin getting rubbish partners, does BBC do any research into what the fans want? Robin was lovely with Anita,so happy! she seemed worried he'd not want her, but she'll be good I think.

Why was naughty Bruno not wearing black tie? And this post board is all wrong now - why can't we leave comments against other posts? And why is it displaying in descending date order instead of ascending? Moan, moan, moan...

Agree with WobblyDancingMum about the order of posts. Even worse when it goes over a page as if you refresh to get new comments it goes back to page 1 :-((



Yet again we have the Anton fans complaining about his partner, yet his personality and experience suits those who will struggle more than most. So I cannot see him ever getting a winner - please learn to live with it.
