Hi Bruce and Flea, yes I was wondering the same - its great to see Ian back in training

Some of the professionals seem to be a bit nervous of the charleston. Should be interesting to see what they com up with.

I do wish that Matt was doing the Tango.

He'll get there Flea just you wait (but keep voting for him). From what I heard on ITT I will be disappointed by the Tango music this evening.

The result obviously being in this evenings outing but Ian does look like he has had a very positive effect on her skinniness this week.

Bruce, do you watch DWTS? One contestant had to dance the Tango to the theme tune of The Brady Bunch!!? (She played the mum in the TV show.)

No don't watch DWTS. That sounds awful. I haven't got any gripes them using trendy music as long as it has the right feel and beat for the dance.

Oh dear props again.



Better I thought but he still looks like he needs to build his core strength. He looked a bit curled in the shoulders when he should have been stood straight.

Jimi & Flavia are so great together, I don't mind the props I just take it all as entertainment, not so much a competition, just sit back enjoy guys.

Hello all. I'm a long time Strictly nut but this is my first time posting to the blog (tho' I read your comments every week!!). Good opener....but I really don't like the excessive use of props this year (can just about get away with it in the Charleston).

Oh I love this music

I'm wondering whether the props are because it's down to us now to decide which couple goes out. Perhaps the BBC thinks we only go on entertainment and not dance ability.

Great Music, Good Hold, Good Feet, Not sure about the face though Scott looked like he was sucking something sour.

Apart from that, the dancing was great, 8

ok the music was a bit horse of the year and the camera work made me want to throw up. Both of which detracted from the dance.



Good I thought but went a bit soft in places I thought. Still good though.

Evening all, been a while since I posted on a Strictly board/thread!



Since the demise of my darling Brian, this year I am Team Patsy. Hope I'm not alone in that! Am quite sympathetic yet smiling at Tina's polka dot look. Bless her.

Scott and Natalie...brilliant! Great choreography....And no props. Agree with comment 41 (bubblegumberyl) - they are going for the "Wow!" factor to earn our vote.

Scott and Nat gave me shivvers and so glad to see Tina back!

Tina's dance with that dress is reminding me of some cute little character off Sesame Street....



I'll give that a SEVEEEN!

I am thinking of cola last year and those exagerated expressions and tight choreography. Doesn't match up. I felt something lacking in the choreography deparment.

timing was a bit out in places & hasn't Tina got odd shaped legs??

Felicity is rather old school theatrical actress isn't she? Ironic as she's best known for a comedy show. Rather reserved. I was hoping she'd do the Charleston!

really enjoyed that one. but vncent is one of my favoutes along with Ian who I am so glad to see back for a week. but my thoughs are with Brendan at this a difficult time for him and his family

That's better Felicity. However still lacking a bit of drama. But much much better.

I saw Vincent in a cafe over the summer. Short hairy italian is very much spot on. And he has the most amusing walk.

Flea and Beryl have summed up my thoughts between them.

While I think that Strictly Come Dancing is, in the main, a good entertainment program I wish that someone in a position to do so would inform Aleysha that to say 'You was' is incorrect and that she should say 'You were'

She looks more liike she's enduring this one! Loved it! I'm biased so an 8 from me. Another kiss!

I di wish she would pick up her feet more. She looked knackered by about 3/4 way through. Needs more energy and more control over the limbs.
