Writing this from a hotel room in Newcastle-under-Lyme I feel very happy that we have completed the lion's share of the 210 miles.

I'm really looking forward to seeing MediaCityUK and Salford tomorrow and I may never sit on a bike again!

Today's 56-mile jaunt took us from Nuneaton to Newcastle-under-Lyme using a mix of A-roads, B-roads and some country lanes, but for most of them it involved going up hill. The superfit merchants took this in their stride, but for some of us, the efforts of the prior day almost finished us off. But of course we soldiered on and the three musketeers Mark, Ian and myself crossed the line around 3.35pm today.

Personally the effort of cycling 210 miles is starting to take its toll. The legs started cramping around lunchtime and when you added this to the injury to my big toe of yesterday it made it a tough and tiring day.

But ultimately, every mile has been worth it as we have blown our £10,000 fundraising target out of the water by hitting £17,500 for Children in Need. Let's keep going and surpass £20k! Only a few more miles to go!
