Leaving Salford

A big well done to the Pedal for Pudsey cycling trio of Dave Lang, Pete Mathieson and Richard Seago who completed their cycling challenge at the beginning of this month for Children in Need. The team has raised over £1500 so far.

Ably supported by driver Kevin Atkinson in a specially branded Pudsey van, it took the team less than 48 hours to get from MediaCity, Salford (pictured right) to BBC Bristol via BBC’s Manchester, Birmingham and Gloucester stopping overnight twice.

The cycle computers varied but they covered somewhere between 183 and 190 miles in total, at just under 15mph average speed!

The team would like to say thanks to everyone who came to see them and wish them well on their journey and especially to those who supported them financially.
