I am wading through (and there is no easy way to put this) a sea of dead cluster flies. I spent most of the weekend spraying and swatting and sweeping and everywhere I look there is a small pile of bodies. I think they are coming in from outside (I know you’re interested really) and not from my dead rats. Quite how you stop flies from entering your house through, I believe, secret underground passages dug by slave insects working under the oppressor fly class, I have no idea.
I will keep you updated with all breaking news of course…
Book club today with the Margaret Atwood live from Canada talking about The Heart Goes Last, you can read a chapter right here, right now! It’s a dystopian (sort of) satire (sort of) which is very difficult to classify. But it is about Stan and Charmaine who are living in a car, are offered a home and job as long as they go to prison every second month. You’ll need to hear Margaret tell you though…
And how about SHOPPING BAG oldies as England finally catches up with the rest of the UK and charges 5p for every plastic bag you need.
