Ooh look we have lighter evenings. We also have a few days (at least) of saying ‘but it’s really, 10 o’clock’ ‘no it’s 12’ and 'actually I’m jet lagged’. But this is all a good thing and we here on DT will enjoy the journey home, arriving back full of the joys of spring.
Good bank holiday everyone? We seemed to have had warm sunshine, hail, thunder, storm force winds and then gentle sunshine again-and all in the space of a weekend. Classic Easter stuff. A few hot cross buns were taken and Nige’s Sag Paneer pie was baked. I said his was ‘the best pie I’ve ever tasted’, sadly no one ventured that opinion of mine, including me. Considering it had a million ingredients, it seemed odd THAT IT DIDNT TASTE OF ANYTHING. Oh well, back to the drawing board…Help me Nigel, help help me Nigel.
So here we are with no guest as Paul Young has sadly become unavailable. But on a Tuesday we don’t care as it magically becomes a TUNESDAY as if we planned it all along! So hurrah for flexible planning.
And while you’re at it, how about a few songs for LIGHTER EVENINGS to spread the joy.
