The Unstoppable March of Progress etc

On a dark and dismal train to Ipswich. There's a solidified and curled up piece of chewing gum on the radiator and a multitude of stains on the worn out carpet. I'm feeling overdressed but that's only because none of my clothes have holes or coffee stains (yet).

Anyway. Blog rebuilding. Who knows what state we are in today? There is a whole rebuild happening and that's why nothing worked yesterday. I'm hoping all will be well today but frankly who knows? In theory, everything will be better and run more smoothly. The sunlit uplands of efficiency and progress are just around the corner...

So it's Dolly Parton today! She's down the line from LA (I think) and what a year she's had. Huge album, UK tour and Glastonbury headline. And still has new stuff that sounds great on the radio. There aren't that many true legends around but Dolly is certainly one so, amongst her classic songs, let's try-technology permitting- some SONGS FOR DOLLY (and don't go thinking this blog isn't monitored).
