The Hour Of Power

Had a three-worder yesterday which was 'feels like October'. Heading out early this morning, I have to say that feels about right. Cool, wet, gloomy. All the planners for fetes, sports days, festivals and fairs will be consulting the weekend forecast nervously. If it's better with you, make hay!
I have what some Americans call a power breakfast, with a big cheese who has important big cheese-style things to say. Then I'm recording a chat with Anthony Horowitz about writing for a future Arts Show (we're all doing one while Claudia's off). Then the film show finds itself in its usual birth at 2pm with Keira Knightley as our guest. She's starring alongside Mark Ruffalo
in Begin Again and rather good it is too. And then....
ARF storms into life with 1966 chosen by the Radio 2 elves as the year of requirement. Harold WIlson wins the election, England win that cup thing and Swinging Radio England is on the air from a ship off the coast of Frinton. Hey let's swing groovers. What's your choice?
Meantime, do I shave before my power breakfast? Do I dress up? Should I eat first? Oh dear.
Onwards. 5pm then.
