I'm twenty-two now but I won't be for long

Autumnal here. No heating on just yet but as night time temperatures drop and family grumbles surface, it's just a matter of time. I'll keep it from Matt of course, no need to upset him unnecessarily. Hope your weekend was a good one. Had a top wedding to attend and loads of reading to do (I toyed with the idea of taking a book to the wedding just in case, but decided that was unwise).

One of the books in question was Spoonbenders by Daryl Gregory, a big, sprawling saga about the Telemachus family. They were famed for their magic and mind reading act; they were TV darlings. Then there's a fall from grace and we pick up the story 2 decades later as this most extraordinary family are trying to piece their act together again.
