Well that was a show. I read the Sanjeen confession many weeks ago and knew it was special. The question was always where do we put it and how do we deal with it? As soon as Michael Morpurgo was booked I knew we had our moment. Confessions isn't about to become 'Our Tune' but Sanjeen had written his story as a confession so that is what it had to be. And as MM said, why write fiction when there are stories like that? Anyway we made a nation cry it seems and Sanjeen will be on the show today at around 5.20. And the confession will be back to its rumbustious, rambunctious best. And what a treasure MM is. I have interviewed him a number of times now and each time he is wise, profound and courteous.
