Thank caffeine it's Friday

The garden door is open, Bob Harris Country playing from last night, second coffee is being appreciated. Happy Friday indeed. A big old week comes to a sunny end with a jaunty and presumptuous ARF. A wander to Westminster first for some movie show business first (it's a studio thing, don't ask). And I love it down there. As a walk to work, Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Westminster is rather splendid. This time of year however is something of a challenge as everyone from everywhere is also appreciating the sights of SW1. And they should realise I have a job to do. Or 2 jobs really.

The Reading confession yesterday was all about 1988 so that's where we are heading for the ARFO. Ramones, Squeeze and Deacon Blue at Reading Festival, Glen Madeiros, Tiffany and Bros on the radio (I know, I'm sorry). There was some great stuff out, but you have to suggest it. The Olympics was in Seoul, US President Ronald Reagan was in the UK and Edwina Currie was in trouble, talking eggs. This is another age people and we all looked less wonderful than we do now. Choose a tune!

Let's do this (and other irritating americanisms).
