Shorts! At 7am! Maybe for the last time but hey ho. There is no way they'll be on for the gig in Hyde Park (by which I mean long trousers required, not that I'll be trouserless) as the weather forecast looks fine but cooler. Dry too which is top news. Once the travel rug and thermos are out, it is so annoying to have it get wet and hide beneath it. You can survive a brief set under cover, still jig a bit to James Blunt say, but the Manics or Smokey Robinson from under a soggy quilt just won't do. So we are of good cheer! Onwards to the park!
