In The Style Of...

Hey.

This is now a greeting. We used to laugh at the Friends boys and girls who said this to each other as they walked into rooms.Now we are infected and no longer say 'good morning dearest sweet pea’ or 'hail to you fine fellow’ So hey again.

Sad news this morning about Charlie Kennedy. He was one of the few politicians listeners of all flavours seemed to look forward to hearing from. He was always a straight talker, witty and knowledgeable. Gone way, way too soon.

Today we bowl up with Clive Anderson who is hosting a stage version of his hit TV series Whose Line Is It Anyway? First on TV back in 1988, it was all rather revolutionary at the time. It was in the guise of a game show but actually it was just a vehicle for some top improvisation. You could only laugh and marvel. Clive is on from 6 but if he mentions football-as he is always tempted to do-I’ll play some Chas And Dave and that’ll be that. His choice.
