Lovely to hear Ms Cox on Breakfast and Sara's just played When A Child Is Born. So I guess it's Christmas then. If the festive blog names are back then you know we're nearly there. It's always a debated issue in radio circles-when do you play that first festive tune? And what should it be? You can't open with Slade or Wizard-too much, too soon (are you listening well known coffee sellers?). But maybe a gentle 2000 Miles might do it. Or a discreet Fairytale of New York could be welcome. You can't peak too soon. Bing Crosby is premature. By the time we hit Christmas Day, we'll all be happy not to hear Wizzard again ever.. But in the meantime, the Christmas playlist-sparkly, tinsely and magical-is waiting to be unwrapped. Coming soon...
