Back door open, swifts are still having their fill and the pain au chocolate was a guilty pleasure. A Wednesday treat, a bonus for good behaviour. I'm planning a few of those over August. The gym membership will need to be renewed after all.
Very sad to hear of the death of Gurrumul yesterday. He sang live on Drivetime and just blew everyone away. Even though we didn't understand his words there was something about the quality of his voice and melodies that stopped listeners in their tracks. Then he sang for the Queen and President Obama (different times) and became the biggest selling indigenous singer in Australia's history. So Tunesday gave us the chance to play his Wiyathul song again and I hope you marvelled all over again.
Today we welcome Justin Hayward back to the show. The Moody Blues main man is back out on tour and he has a new album too called All The Way. How about MOODY songs then, tunes with a definite MOOD on?
