Right then, Friday chores completed and on with everything. And theres not as much ‘everything’ as yesterday but plenty none the same. An unorthodox departure from the show last night but there was no other way to get to The One Show for its opening bars. But all was well and what a nice bunch they are…
2 shows in normal, sport-free positions. Films feature Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass on the new Bourne movie. What a great team they are and what an exciting franchise they’ve created. There are a few in-jokes to get through of course but it’s a fine conversation. The we can all ARF and why don’t we try some tunage from 1995 to kick it all off. The Diary of Bridget Jones column appears in The Independent for the first time, the BBC begins Digital Audio Broadcasting from Crystal Palace and Frank Bruno is the WBC World Champion. At the movies its Toy Story, Pocahontas and Seven. And on the radio? Who wants what?
