It’s life Jim..

And we’re back. Thanks to Mark for standing in (he’ll be back in August). Family day out in Bristol for child 2’s graduation day was a fine old affair with all the applause, smiles, gowns, ceremony, photos and pizza you could wish for. Plus, as the presentation do continued, many present discovered that the hall was a Pokemon gym. Consequently many heads bowed, not in sombre refection, but in ernest pursuit of a squiggly puff. Heady days.

Busy day today with a TV chat on Lorraine, a new Radio 2 photo session and The One Show. By this evening I will have more make up on than ever before. The R2 photo is for the new ‘postcards’ where we get frozen in time for another 10 years, so I’d better choose the right t-shirt/smile/look-of-warmth. It’s going to be hanging in reception for a while (one hopes…).

Nige is baking again and we’ll do STAR TREK oldies as Star Trek Beyond opens tomorrow
