Let the sunshine in!

Friday and a Bank Holiday weekend (caps/no caps?) weekend on the way (for some) so jolly good news all-round. Yes it feels like February but warmth is just around the corner (by warmth I mean 14C and by the corner I mean a few weeks obviously). So who’s having a big weekend then? Not here obviously as we’ll be here on Monday with a top-of-the-range BANK HOLIDAY (if in doubt, put it all BIG) All Request special. But for today, what could be nicer than an ARF that kicks off with some 1969 grooves. Alec Rose completes his round the world solo sail around the world and gets knighted (‘Rise Sir Alec’ said the Queen, and so Sir Alec Rose). And let’s go see Hair! And watch that newfangled show Dad’s Army! Or Paint Your Wagon, The Italian Job or True Grit! What a year for music too….you want what?

There’s a movie show first with Captain America Chris Evans (again) and Antman Paul Rudd who star in the new Marvel epic Captain America:Civil War and then it’s happy families, kids in cars and tipsy party goers all the way.
