Fabulous Friday dawns, the weekend emerges. But these are different weekends ladies and gentlemen of the blog. These are December weekends and these behave in different ways to normal ones. Whereas most weekends can be relied on for relaxation and chill, December weekends are full of ERRANDS, JOBS, REQUIREMENTS, OBLIGATIONS and generally they are exhausting, in a COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS kind of way. Monday is a relaxing, feet up day by comparison.
So. Films with Tom Hanks, always magic words in my opinion. Always delightful, always wise and engaged, he is still my favourite guest. Tom's talking Sully, the Clint Eastwood film about the miracle landing on the Hudson River by Captain Chelsey Sullenberger back in 2009. Then we ARF with our big launch year of 1989. It's still the 80's absolutely everywhere. There's a Band Aid 2 record, Dr Who is discontinued and at the movies it's When Harry Met Sally, Dead Poets Society and Driving Miss Daisy. And what's the tune you fancy for a 5.05 marvel?
