Sun up, radiators working well. I am grateful for both. Zoe B was complaining about the lack of heat (in the weather, not my radiators) and I shall refer her to my recent blog about caravanning in the snow at Easter. We all need some heat in our lives and some will be jetting off somewhere glorious but the rest of us will have to wait inside…
Lots of lovely Tunesday action and interesting comment. We can’t all like everything but it does seems though the Nina Simone was a divisive moment. Many were ecstatic, many others appalled. I’m ecstatic for 6 minutes, then irritated for 4. Either way I though it was Reithian moment and we are allowed one every few years or so. But in the mix with the Bee Gees, Pink Floyd and Blue Nile seems a good place for some experimentation.
Today our very own Michael Ball is on. The fact he is in the building once a week lets me forget quite what a huge star he is. Actor, musical theatre and recording star. It makes you sick really. And his Sunday night show is pitch perfect. And he has a new album out. And he is on tour. And he is on after 6.
And as a contrast to yesterdays intelligence songs it is clearly the day for FOOLISH songs to flourish and bloom. And nothing over 9 minutes please...
