It's a wonderful thing baby

Strange old day today. Full of work and normal life stuff while all around you that other thing is happening. And because of that other thing, strict rules take over at work. No mention of the thing at all apart from to say it is actually a thing and that it is happening. It'll last all day and most of the night then it's over and it'll be only thing in town for ages.

Because of the thing, the film show is on a day early. This seems fair enough really, there will be a lot of news in the way tomorrow. Plus we get to play you the fabulous Jon Stewart interview. I love his Daily Show on American TV and the fact that he's written and directed a movie means I get to talk to him. I'm way more excited about that than talking to another movie star. We just don't have anyone as smart, funny, wise and analytical as Jon Stewart here so the fact he's leaving TV is a great shame but if he makes movies like Rosewater, we'll get something from the deal.

Then it's a taxi bike to get to R2 for some top Thursday Drivetime action. Foody Thursday features Nigel's ricotta cheese and olive oil cake. Or olive oil cake with ricotta cheese.
