Well.
Sunny and fabulous today round these parts, those autumn colours really kicking off (to give it its correct botanical term) If only I didn’t have a MEETING I could go and skip though the park and chase squirrels. Down with meetings and their kind.
For the rest of the day then…
SHOWTIME 1. Movie stuff with Gemma Arterton talking about her new zombie thriller The Girl With All The Gifts. Top film this, full of interesting ideas and fine performances. Child 3, who is a connoisseur of this genre, was really impressed with it, which is really all you need to know
SHOWTIME 2. Be a part of the ARF right now. The mysterious murky waters that decide these things have revealed 1975 as the starting position. Monty Python and the Holy Grail in the cinemas, Parliament is live on the radio for the first time, pioneering the zoo format copied by so many radio shows and Charlie Chaplin gets a knighthood (a little late maybe?). So what spangly, sequinned, bell-bottomed tunes would you fancy?
And have a top weekend while you’re at it….
