Matchsticks on order

Nice bed, nice sheets, still awake before 5am. This is ridiculous. Coffee is good though and with the rain howling outside, here is the epistle for February 1st 2013. Greetings to all bloggers new and vet. That was a busy one yesterday! Thanks for all the congrats re the listening figures. A healthy disrespect for this kind of thing is always appropriate as the fluctuations are often wild and crazy but when new numbers are reached, it's worth an extra sherbet I think. But hopefully we'll continue to get better and even more gorgeous (don't hold me to that).

Movie show at 2 with Denzel Washington on his Oscar nominated performance in Flight (which I was trying not to think of as we took off yesterday). He's not a natural raconteur it has to be said but he is a great actor and one of the big box office stars out there.

Then my gentle saunter to Radio 2 for a lovely ARF with your opening song year selection being 1979. You'll enjoy that I think...
